| [[pantheons:deities:solara|Solara]] lay on her back, the labor she induced upon herself racking her body of pure light and energy as its light scattered across the darkness that surrounded her, the darkness encroaching itself upon her life and vitality. As her body convulsed, pieces of her separated itself from her, becoming other bodies of light in the primordial darkness of before. These pieces would become known to us as the stars, the celestial bodies of pure energy that all could claim descent from the original light, Solara herself. The bodies of light that were the stars and once one with Solara would become reliant on the surrounding chaos to assist in their constructions, the darkness subsuming all of the energies contained within itself.\\ | [[pantheons:deities:solara|The goddess of light and sun]] lay on her back, the labor she induced upon herself racking her body of a soft, effervescent light and energy as its essence became scattered across the places and abodes of chaos that existed from without her. As the chaos affected this goddess called Solara by way of its inconstant movement and jagged edges that cut into her, thus was born the stars, who came from the goddess of the sun and would inherit all of her essence. These celestial bodies were accordingly an imitation of the sun which Solara had embodied, and were thought to have existed in a greater distance than that between [[planes:heavens|the sun]] and [[planes:aurius:ethrekas:start|Ethrekas]]. From Solara could come the gifts of life and prosperity and, in the light of the sun, there could be observed a nutritive quality as its warmth spread throughout all of our land. Solara, seeing that these stars contained a potentiality alike to the sun, began to provide some shape to them, and, in her labor that the darkness had procured in her, could see that her dream of a land of fruitfulness and prosperity could come into existence with her essence. Thus, the goddess descended into a place within the void, and furthermore illuminated all of the jagged vertices which could be found there.\\ |

| The labor of Solara, though proving to be fruitful and sustainable as the cosmos were formed from her energy, was not yet finished, for after creating the cosmos she desired to create a world and a people belonging to this world to look upon them, the act of creating the cosmos not being sufficiently satisfying enough for the universe she dreamed of. This dream, all of which felt and contained within the light of herself, was born of Solara’s desire to create and sustain, the hills and valleys she envisioned existing inside of her in the same moment that she dreamed of them. The visions experienced by Solara contained all of our world within it, including the mountains, hills, rivers, and valleys, the visions of teeming vigor being her greatest and most prized possession that she had spun and weaved in her internal world of energy and life, the same life she would pass on to our world.\\ | Upon these illuminations made by the goddess’s light, there were born spirits born from [[planes:void|the void]] and this light, and they each possessed a nature of their own to be observed and made distinguished from the others of their kind. It was found that, in this world which existed beneath the sun and original place that Solara had descended from, there was found a pure potentiality and no limitation of her creations, and thus, she saw that it bore the possible realization of a reality that she had dreamt of. Thus, she provided a shape to it, sculpting it from the essence that had spilled from the heavens so that it might resemble those fixtures present there. Then was born the spirits of this world of Ethrekas, and they had come to belong there so that they remained bound to the place and finite in nature rather than being capable of ascension and an infinity as Solara was.\\ |

| The chaos that surrounded Solara, becoming hungry for her fruits of life and prosperity, looked upon her wondrous beauty and saw the many worlds contained within her, wishing for these contained worlds to become one and merge with itself in its state of endless hunger and destruction. Its hunger for the worlds would, eventually, cause them to emerge from Solara’s grace and will, its presence allowing for the worlds to become instead of remaining as a dream of certain mirth and tranquility in the divine presence of Solara herself. Within Solara, the dream was, and remained, perfect and unspoiled, being free from all constraints of the inevitable conclusion of death and finality as it remained teeming with life and possibility.\\ | The spirits which Solara had bore to be observed among the land of Ethrekas encapsulated the perfect and quintessential elements of mountains, hills, rivers, and deep valleys that could be identified, and, in this stage, Ethrekas was perfect and wholly derived from Solara’s will, and so Solara was known to walk among this world so that the spirits might know her life. From Solara came the desire to create and sustain, and the goddess performed this task simply through her existence, purifying Ethrekas, her chosen continent, so that it might know her abundance of life and prosperity. These spirits were contained in aspects of Solara, and, rather than each being comprised of all of Solara’s sublimity, they each inherited a specific aspect of her sublime nature such that they existed beneath her and constrained by the fullness of her absence. Thus, the spirits were incomplete, and from their incompleteness could be found flaw and imperfection, the potential being for any form rather than a specific one.\\ |

| The dream, tugging its way out of her by its own accord as the chaos that enveloped her willed it to, spilled into the darkness of nothing, everything that she dreamt finally having a place in the cosmos as her labors were now complete, having given birth to many sons and daughters who would inherit her life and energies by their ability to exist just as Solara did. These sons and daughters would not only include the gods, but the children of man as well, as Solara crowned our race as rulers of the land and its rightful owners, imbuing us with her gift of creation and allowing us to be fruitful amongst ourselves, the gods bowing down before our people in response to Solara’s crowning of our people.\\ | The original chaos whose weapons had originally caused Solara’s labor saw, then, a kind of comprising of its kind into Solara’s dreamt world, and it made of some of the spirits corrupted versions that were lacking in some way of Solara’s original perfection. The darkness had thus found its place within the world, and Solara’s essence which was that of immortal sunlight could be found to not penetrate into the world as gladly as it had previous. From the darkness came a hunger, and from this hunger came the threat of the consumption of this world that had been created in an originally sublime state.\\ |

| Though chosen and blessed we were, there were many born from Solara that refused to bow before us, in time becoming the enemies of the light and thus, recognized as evil entities that wished to lead us astray from the benevolence of Solara. These entities were those who had become apart from the birthplace of all of the world, instead being ingrained in the chaos and thus, far removed from Solara’s grace and benevolence. These evil entities would become known as devils, having been born from the light that descended into the darkness of chaos in times long ago, with their ability to provide the means of the testing of our people being well known and acknowledged.\\ | The world of Ethrekas was then populated by flawed spirits, those who were lacking in some quality of Solara’s such that they did not retain all of her perfection. Accordingly, as Solara’s essence spilled into the world, there was still observed a corruption of that essence, and though the essence contained a pure sustenance and basis from which all life could come into existence, and the darkness hungered for this energy and sought to consume it. Upon this consumption there was the rebirth of the world, and thus was born the new spirits that had taken after Solara’s dream that had yet been corrupted in some regard. Solara’s vision had been replaced with this corrupted version, and yet, she still chose to provide her light of a purity to Ethrekas so that the world would not die. Thus, the world teeming with her own vigor and life force that was previously spun and weaved in her internal world of light and perfection became imperfect and prone to change, though she found that yet she could still provide some influence there.\\ |

| These devils, refusing to acknowledge Solara as the true divine, grew to love to torture and misuse us, wreaking havoc among this land and to our people as they strove to destroy us in their ways of pleasure and fun, our people being the weakest and most vulnerable of Solara’s many children. The hate which the devils felt for the dominion of Solara over all of the land was instead channeled through their many and various acts of torture and the infliction of pain and suffering to our people, the chaos which they were born from manifesting in their own natures of destruction and change.\\ | Solara’s labor, as it was originally induced by the darkness, had come to completion, her dream that she had bore becoming corrupted though in the process. The new spirits of both light and void that were begat by the hunger of the darkness were of a mixed quality, and many who possessed vice yet possessed some amount of virtue that had originally been conceived of by Solara. Still, there were some spirits who recognized Solara, and instead chose to ally themselves with her purity: thus was born the [[pantheons:class:elohad|Elohad]], the spirits who prostrated themselves to Solara so that they might know the origins of their creation.\\ |

| The world, though imperfect it had become as the devils grew to be a part of it, was then smiled upon by Solara, gracing the land with plentiful and abundant life and fertility as the giver of these elements, her benevolent divinity revealing itself through these acts. Solara, her labors then complete, continued to exist as the epitome of divinity and the heavens, giving our world her blessings of creation and eternal sustenance as she looked upon it from her position high above. | Additionally, there were beings constructed of the clay of valleys and mountains that had also grown to recognize Solara as a divinity, and Solara saw that they already bore some resemblance to herself; Solara then chose them as her people, and thus, our people of the [[races:humans:ethrekasan:ethetia:start|Ethetia]] could properly be called so, named in honor of our consecration by the goddess of Solara. In doing so, she called for the Elohad to acknowledge our ancestors as well, and thus was born the tradition of the worship of the Elohad throughout the Ethetian peoples.\\ |

| | Though the worship of the Elohad had become commonplace, there were many spirits who rebelled against Solara’s will that had spread in the east of Ethrekas, and these were the [[pantheons:class:avetad|Avetad]], spirits of a certain malevolence against Solara such that they might be further consumed and absorbed by the insatiable hunger of the darkness. Then, there were other people constructed from clay that recognized these evil deities, and these were the [[races:humans:ethrekasan:makhetia:start|Makhetia]]. Thus, the Avetad and Makhetia became allied against Solara’s consecrated, and thus was born an era of segregation among each people.\\ |
