| The world of Ethrekas was then populated by flawed spirits, those who were lacking in some quality of Solara’s such that they did not retain all of her perfection. Accordingly, as Solara’s essence spilled into the world, there was still observed a corruption of that essence, and though the essence contained a pure sustenance and basis from which all life could come into existence, and the darkness hungered for this energy and sought to consume it. Upon this consumption there was the rebirth of the world, and thus was born the new spirits that had taken after Solara’s dream that had yet been corrupted in some regard. Solara’s vision had been replaced with this corrupted version, and yet, she still chose to provide her light of a purity to Ethrekas so that the world would not die.
