The god is thought to be intertwined with the fates of the Vespetian witches born into the covens he rules over, believing that Nephraeth will manifest and they will be blessed with his great magic. Through this magic, the eternal undead are made by him from the carapace of mortal flesh, with only a select few of these witches gaining access to the immortal form. These undead beings, referred to as the [[pantheons:class:vuxa|Vuxa]], are known to sustain their very being from the life force found within the blood of others, thereby preserving themselves by killing another.
