| =====Solara, the Goddess of the Sun===== | ===== Solara, the Goddess of the Sun ===== |
| Solara, the feminine personification of the sun and the light above, is considered by the races:humans:ethetia and their descendants as the mother of the cosmos, the origin of all life as its source. It is said by the legends of these Ethetia that she bore the mortal plane as well as the stars and their mortal kind, all of the energies present originating from her as she is considered the source of all light. Being the source of all of flawed creation, she is oftentimes seen as a goddess whose life force was unmatched as she brought into existence all of mortality and this aforementioned creation as a goddess of the feminine acts of childbirth, possessing the traits of both a youthful maiden and a fertile, bountiful mother. As the mother of all of the world, she is regarded as the bringer and giver of mortal law, any sins committed against her being punished through her great power and wisdom.\\ | Solara, the feminine personification of the sun and the light as it spills from the heavens, is considered by the Ethetia and their descendants to be the mother of the cosmos, the origin of all of creation as she had provided her vitality to it. It is said by the legends of these Ethetia that she bore creation through the proliferation of a dream within her, and, in doing so, shed her light that scattered to become the stars. Furthermore, it is thought that all soul and life originates from the goddess as she is considered as the source of all being and, being the source of creation that would eventually become spoiled, she is oftentimes seen as a goddess whose life force was unmatched as she brought into existence all of mortality. The goddess of the sun and light is also associated with the feminine acts of childbirth, and she is thought to possess the traits of both a youthful and vivacious maiden and a fertile, bountiful mother. Thus, as she is the mother of all of the world, she is regarded as the bringer and giver of the divine law which the Ethetia propagated throughout their world, any act committed against her being seen as a transgression and accordingly, punished through her great power and wisdom.\\ |

| Specifically, to the Ethetia, she was known as their creator goddess, the goddess who imparted her energies onto the mortal plane to give them their lives and vitality as her children. It is her life force that runs through the veins of every Ethetia, these peoples having been born from Solara’s energy and vitality. She is also considered the goddess of light, the light of the sun shining upon the Ethetian people and gracing them with a bountiful and blessed life. As the mother of their pantheon, and especially the matriarchal authority of :the_elohad, she is considered the true divinity from which all of creation came to be, having chosen the Ethetia and the Elohad as her heirs and kissing them by the graceful light of the sun.\\ | Specifically among the Ethetia, she was regarded as the goddess of the heavens that had yet managed to imbue herself into them, either through accident or design. Thus, she is thought to have imparted her energies onto the mortal plane and to have given them their lives and soul as they thought of her as their divine mother. It is believed that it is Solara’s life force that runs through the veins of every one of the Ethetia, as her essence had become inherited and allowed for their gaze to extend beyond their world and into the cosmos. Furthermore, she is thought to have granted a paradisal state to the Ethetia in ancient times, having grown the bountiful and tropical jungles which the Ethetia inhabited in ancient times. The goddess is thought to have blessed the land, enabling the heavens to descend onto the world and sustaining it in that way. As the sustainer and creatrix of the world, she is also thought to be the mother of the pantheon that the Ethetia would come to recognize after the extermination of the Makhetia, having chosen those spirits who would become the Elohad as her heirs and enabling them to ascend as she had.\\ |

| The :kataletia revere her in the form of their veneration of the sun, her status as being the divine mother of all of the deities that descended from the sun in ancient times being respected and acknowledged by all. Direct worship of her, however, has largely become rare and uncommon, their creation occurring so long ago so as to only find evidence of her existence in the sun above. However, in prayers condoned by religious officials of the various cities, Solara’s name is mentioned often and revered, these prayers remaining from those times where Solara was worshiped and venerated.\\ | The Kataletia of the Grecydan Empire revere her in the form of their veneration of the sun as being the divine place where the Elohad reside and hold court over, and it is thought that she is one with the sun itself and exists in a state of slumber. As the Elohad, those beings who the Kataletia permit worship of exclusively through the formation of the Grecydan Empire, are thought to have inherited her gifts, it is furthermore thought that the Elohad exercise her will though representing a different facet of the original light and goddess. Accordingly, direct worship of the goddess has largely become rare and uncommon, as it is the Elohad which carry her powers as they had ascended and could descend into the world. Though this may be the case, it is found that in prayers condoned by religious officials, Solara’s name is mentioned often and revered, and these prayers having remained as an artifact of those times where Solara was worshipped and venerated.\\ |

| The :eretia of southern :ethrekas believe Solara to be a goddess of the continuously fading light, the twilight of the world coming to fruition as the end draws near and Solara’s grip on the world loses hold. As this is the case, the Eretia typically believe that the conjoining darkness that resides in the soul has been awakened in all beings as a result of their flawed creation, prompting them to instead rely on those previously believed devils who have become one with the ancient darkness.\\ | The Eretia of Tradarda, as descendants of the Ethetia, believe Solara to be in a state of slumber, and it is through the collective might of all of the Kataletian Elohad that she may be awakened. Thus, as the Eretia do not worship the Elohad but instead, their elven masters, they believe Solara to be a goddess of the light that continuously fades from the world, the twilight of creation coming to fruition as the world has changed so drastically from the original vision of Solara’s. As a mystic people, however, they are harmonized also with divine spirits, though oftentimes, they instead worship powerful ancestor spirits of their elven predecessors as the Eretia are a mix of both elven and human blood, though with the elven being diluted. Thus, the Elohad are not their gods, and instead, they look to the stars as a form of divinity. |

| To the few of the :aevayans who have been exposed to the theologies of those belonging to the southern lands, counting among the Kataletia and Eretia, Solara is regarded as merely a feminine emanation of pantheons:deities:aion_teleos, the static and incomprehensible force of light, Solara having mated with the darkness in an act of feminine desire and lust to create and thus, given birth to all of the worlds. | |
