As an entity that is a simple exclusion of the force of [[the Light (disambiguation)|the Light]], it is sometimes not formally recognized, though there is always an implication of its existence through an interaction with the light to form creation. Notably, among the [[Iluayans]] of [[Caskaris]], it is referred to as [[Umbra]], though it is not regarded in the same way amongst them and their variegated cultures. The [[Varayans]] of the same land believe in the [[Asuras]] as the beings of chaos, though in their context, it is not a force which they acknowledge to have given rise to the Asuras necessarily. [[Makhetia|The Makhetia]], who inhabited alongside [[Ethetia|the Ethetia]], acknowledged [[Scath]], thought to be a primordial representation of the absolute nothing of the void which they worshipped. The Ethetia, notably, do not recognize the dark as a force in and of itself, believing primarily in [[Solara]] and the sun. The [[Elves|elven people]] acknowledge the [[Novya]] as the agents of the darkness, though there is [[Azratha|a specific entity]] that is thought to encapsulate a form of entropy within it.
