=====The Undara=====
The Undari people are said to be descendants of the elves that settled the archipelago off of the coast of Arethayn and who earlier claimed descent from the water spirits of the Cephareth, where they lived at harmony with the oceanic essence that touched and invaded the land. The element of water that overtook this land was celebrated as a gift by their gods, the water spirits of the surrounding ocean. They often long to be like these aspects of the water and their matronly goddess, Aecora, who they regard as their divine mother from where the element they revere originated from.
====Origins====
The Undari people are descendants of the elven people who settled the archipelago of islands off of the coast of southern Arethayn, where they performed the sacrilegious deeds against the Elefyr that led the group of gods to sink their inhabited isles beneath the waves. Prior to and after this event of sinking, they worshipped the aspects of water that inhabited within the world of Arethayn who they recognized as being both the most beautiful and wise.\\
\\
Previously to their ancestors’ settling of the isles, they were thought to already be differentiated from the Arethara by way of customs and culture, such that they took after the Cephareth that had birthed the concept and element of water in the Altori Era. This provided further ammunition for the Elefyr to spurn them, though in doing so, unknowingly facilitated their envelopment with the ways of the water that they would come to know as belonging to themselves and the Undari people.
====Culture====
They often revere the various spirits of water, utilizing the essences of these spirits to cause floods and tidal waves on the earth of Aurius. The spirits that have to do with the water are often of more importance than just the Aurya, or Novya, or Sorya. These spirits often consist of all Auryi, Soryi, and Novyi spirits, some spirits not having had to do with the creation of Aurius at all, but still having some relation to the water or the beings that dwell within it.\\
\\
They inhabit migrating cities constructed of shells and earth, the currents pulling them every which way throughout the expansive oceans and seas, the chaos remaining present in all aspects of their lives. It is these cities that are known to be built vertically, requiring its inhabitants to swim upwards or downwards to access the various rooms or locations of their tower-like cities. These locations and structures are held together through the use of their magic, allowing each city to not become separated and otherwise dismembered.\\

The darkness, to these elves, is an important aspect of life in the deeps, affecting all of them in ways subtle to all but themselves, the importance of darkness remaining a secret to the other peoples of Aurius. It is this darkness that is often associated with the chaotic undertow of the oceans, the blackness of the deeps concealing the evils that lie within. To these elves, the corrupting nature of the darkness of the ocean is obvious, the effects of the curse of their lands being sunken in to the black depths as evidence for this, these effects ranging from a primeval state of disorder and the whitening and discoloration of their skin and eyes.
====Biology====
They are known to possess white, luminescent skin along with gray, colorless eyes, and dark, nearly black, hair. They have these traits as adaptations to the deeps of the oceans, where sunlight rarely reaches. Despite these obvious physical traits preventing them from being beautiful by mortal standards, they are known to be graceful, majestic creatures capable of enrapturing mortals for the purpose of devouring their souls or becoming their mates.\\
\\
Other physical features they all share is the slenderness and pointed ears typical of all of the elven races, being graceful creatures with divine origins. This gracefulness is somewhat heightened in the females, their hands more petite and spindly than their male counterparts, the males of this elven race often wielding spears which require more strength that petite hands do not give.\\

The facial features found primarily in this race as opposed to other elven races are the elongated and narrow face and skull, the beauty of the water showing itself in her children. They also possess high cheekbones, a trait that remains constant in all of the elven races.
